Cheryl Cole Unveils A New Tattoo

We all know that Cheryl Cole’s likes to look her best all the time. And she loves to enhance her body with some great tattoos. It is believed that she has 7 tattoos on her body and earlier this week, she has unveiled a brand new tattoo on the small of her back.

It was spotted by photographers as she left the X Factor rehearsal show.

She confessed to the Mirror that she had designed the new tattoo herself with the help of an artist. She's done a really good job but then again, we all know she has a good sense for fashion and style. The new tattoo has got a strong meaning. It was done to symbolise a new beginning and it means she has moved on from the mistake of the Mrs C tattoo on her neck.

The new tattoo is an elaborated design and was added to the butterfly tattoo she already had on her lower back.

Ozzy Osbourne Regrets Silly Tattoo

The Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne is famous for his appearance and sense of style. However, like so many other rock stars, he has admitted that he might have gone too far with his tattoos. He confirmed that tattoos can be addictive. We heard the same words from Jodie Marsh not so long ago. Ozzy Osbourne also confirmed that he regrets some of the tattoos he had done when he was much younger.

Once again, this should serve as a warning to anyone under the age of 18 who wants a tattoo. It's best to wait than have regrets later as tattoos will be on your skin for the rest of your life.

The Prince of Darkness even told his daughter Kelly Osbourne to wait before getting inked. He told her to be careful not to follow fashion too closely as this can lead to regrets.

He even described one of his tattoos, a smiley face on his knee, as a mistake and the worst thing about all this, is that it hurts to get it done and it’s expensive to remove!

Expensive Tattoos - Gold or PlatiniumTattoos

Dubai is famous for expensive cars and houses, luxury hotels and gold jewellery. Today, there’s a new way to flash your money in Dubai, and show your fashion style. You can get a very special and flash tattoo. The latest fashion accessory for the style-conscious party-goer in Dubai is a temporary tattoo made of real gold!

A new business in Dubai is offering temporary 24-carat gold tattoos as the ideal body jewellery for weddings and special occasions at a starting price of $50 (31 pounds), not such a bad investment considering the current rate for gold. Obviously, larger and more intricate design can reach hundreds, even thousands of pounds. This is body art for the rich and the fashion conscious!

Precious Skin has two outlets in Dubai -- one at the luxury, sail-shaped Burj Al Arab hotel -- which will design and apply body tattoos made of 99.9 percent gold or platinum to add a bit of glitz to your style.

You would be forgiven for thinking it was invented in Dubai but it was actually imported from Japan by Flambeau Luxury Trading and Precious Skin.

How does it work?
When doing an ink tattoo, the ink is injected underneath the skin. The technique for a gold tattoo is different. A thin film of gold or platinum is used to make the tattoo which is then applied to the skin and can last for up to a week.

Both men and women in Dubai are said to be embracing this new fashion accessory. Soon to be seen in New York, Hoolywood and London? There is no doubt that gold tattoos will be seen again!

A Tattoo for Harry Potter!

The Harry Potter crew arrives in London today for the world premiere of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One", the penultimate film which, along with next year's second part, will spell the end of the young wizard's famous adventures. The seventh and final Harry Potter book has been split into two films and the second half is due to be released in July 2011.

For Daniel Radcliffe who has played Harry Potter for the past ten years, it will be the end of long era. But it is also time for him to rediscover a new freedom and move on to other roles.

The end of the contract also means freedom to do different things for Rupert Grint who plays Ron in the movies. And one of the first things the actor mentioned is that it might be time to get a tattoo!

"A tattoo sounds quite cool, maybe of Dan's face," joked Rupert Grint, 22, when asked what he will do when he no longer plays Ron.

Emma Watson, who plays Hermione, has a few more ideas about what she wants to do and she might move away from acting. She will continue to be the face of Burberry.

10 years is a long time to dedicate to a character and they all started really young. Now is time to start a new page for the 3 heros and with so many wild animals in the movies, the first stop might be at the tattoo shop for a snake tattoo or a dragon tattoo!

X Factor Cher Lloyd is getting a new tattoo!

"Sorry Simon, I'm getting a new tattoo!" This what X Factor young star Chel Lloyd is claiming loud and clear. She won't be intimidated by Simon Cowell or anyone else who want to tell her to wait for when she turns 18 to get more ink. She already has 3 tattoos but in the UK, it is illegal to get a tattoo when you are under 18 and she is only 17!

Now Cher Lloyd is asking fans for inking suggestions. She is planning to defy Simon Cowell by adding another tattoo to her collection. X Factor favortie Cher already has a musical note on her left hand (not unlike Cheryl Cole) as well the quote 'Bolsillo Lleno De Suenos' (Spanish for "a pocket full of dreams") on her right arm, and also a bow on her lower back.

What can we suggest? Maybe she could get a tattoo of her star sign? or a tattoo of a tiger as she's like a little tiger on stage. Or maybe a tattoo of the number 1 ....for the number 1 hit she will surely get one day!

Official Tattoos Advice Issued in Wales

The rise in unsafe tattoos has pushed Public Health Wales to issue an official advice to all young people about the dangers of illegal tattooing.

It is a reminder that tattoing anyone under 18 is illegal in the UK. Unfortunately, a widespread abuse of the law has been revealed.

The health advice body is issuing new leaflets to be distributed in schools. It is a reminder that using a registered tattooist will reduce the risk of infection at the site, blood poisoning and also catching serious viruses such as Hepatitis B and C and HIV.

Also using an illegal tattoo shop can leave you very very disappointed with a nasty looking tattoo!!
